I have suffered from migraines since my car accident head injury which cost me sight in my left eye. I have been to e.r. on a few occasions due to these. My blood pressure was always high during these episodes. When they treated the head pain my blood pressure would go down ,not perfect but not as high. When they treated the blood pressure the headache would remain. The Dr's I have seen always go 6 months of trying to get my blood pressure under control even when I complain of the headaches. They try unsuccessfully with different med to get it down and never get me under 160. I think they need to treat both pain and blood pressure but I'm a person and they r Dr's.
