Last month, I got an email from our church admin. Before opening it I assumed it was a request to help in some way since my husband and I are active servants of the church. It was, but it wasn't. It was an offer to go check out a conference center that wants us to book our next retreat at their facility. The center is located two blocks from the beach, and we would be staying for a free, 3-day stay. So, here we are. We've met with the manager and toured and photographed the facilities. I have all my notes recorded . We're done. So, it's off to the beach. Wow, I could see doing this at a few more places. I wonder if there are any other conference centers that want to host us for a stay to solicit our church's business. I'm game.
