What’s happening to everyone’s gift card prices?

Ive been seeing alot of people talking about their gift card prices have been going up to like 12500 coins for a $5 gift card and now even 50000 coins! Its strange noting really happened to me except when $5 gift cards used to be 2000 coins, but this is crazy! Most people cant even probably afford for at least one gift card within a year tryna get 50000 coins. I have no idea whats going on but everythings still fine for me. 5000 coins for $5 gift card and 10000 coins for a $10 gift card. How strange 🤔
