So I've recently watched the so much talked about movie Anna karenina 2012 production with the stunning Keira Knightley and Aaron Taylor as co-stars. I've read the book first before watching the movie and I can say that this movie is complicated to comprehend without understanding the time and place the movie is set in and also a part of the book's author life since Tolstoj reflects his morals and ideals into the characters. The conflict between what you want and what you need to do, the questioning of the authenticity of the social norms and the relationship between an individual and God, all topics talked about in the movie... This movie gave justice to the book also thanks to the theatre- like set, the artistic production sucking you into watching every detail of the movie, and the ending... The ending will leave you questioning deeply If it was the right choice to do or not! I would reccomend this movie only to the ones who could understand it because it's much more than a love story it's a narration of life. 🧚♀️
