The game that I find most memorable in this year's Paris Olympics is the Final of the Individual Men's Foil Fencing competition. I don't know much about fencing and have never played it before, but I like to watch fencing games as they are very exciting and the fencers' moves are very beautiful.
The Kong Kong fencer Ka-Long Cheung, who was the gold medal winner in the Tokyo Olympics 2021, fought with the Italian fencer Filippo Macchi. Hong Kong is only a city with 7.5 million population but recently it does very well in the world's fencing competitions. Both Cheung and Macchi performed their best in this final match and the game was breathtakingly exciting. They fought to the very end to a level score of 14 to 14 and in the end, Cheung secured the victory by a narrow margin which the judges could only made the decision after three VAR reviews. Now not only is Cheung the only Hong Kong athlete who won a gold medal in two consecutive Olympics, he is also the first man to defend a Olympics foil fencing title in 68 years successfully.
