I created a link with a video of me explaining how some of these work. I like the nuun for in the beginning of a workout, but it's also really good for in the middle of a workout and definitely at the end so it's all up to preference for that. Some of these other ones have different nutrients so those are up to preference as well depending on what your body needs in the beginning or middle of a workout. I personally use all these at different times depending on what I'm doing. So if I'm taking a long run, I would eat one of the gel packs in the middle of my run and drink the nuun hydration before and during the run . So, I think that all these products are wonderful and all within reasonable prices- it's just that it is up to your own interpretation/ preferences as to when and how you would like to use them.
