Netflix serie: Stranger Things

Stranger Things is an American TV series set in 1980s Indiana, in the quiet town of Hawkins. The sci-fi drama tells the story of a group of four nerdy kids and their families, whose lives are turned upside down by strange phenomena that lead to the disappearance of one of them, twelve-year-old Will Byers (Noah Schnapp, Bridge of Spies ). Returning home on his bicycle after playing with his friends, Will realizes that he is being chased by a strange being. At the same time, another bizarre event occurs, the arrival in the city of a little girl with shaved hair, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown, Godzilla II: King of the Monsters), who has escaped from a secret laboratory, the Haekins National Laboratory, taking advantage of the confusion generated by the death of a researcher, killed by a mysterious creature.

Will's disappearance shocks the entire community, starting from the family made up of single mother Joyce (Winona Ryder, Edward Scissorhands, Girl, Interrupted ) and her older brother Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), and his fraternal friends: Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo) and Lucas Sinclair (Caleb McLaughlin). The police start looking for the missing boy, led by Chief Jim Hopper (David Harbor, Suicide Squad, Hellboy), a gruff man with a difficult family past who however has a great sense of justice and is determined to find Will.

During her escape from the laboratory, Eleven meets the members of the group who left in search of their friend and, finding her so disoriented, they decide to hide her at Mike's house, where the girl shows them her incredible telekinetic powers and announces that she knows who , or rather, what kidnapped Will and where he is, in the Upside Down, offering to help them find him.
