I just finished the "Never Have I Ever" series. It was such a cute quirky coming of age story. I think it's a good series for many teens and young adults to watch. There are so many lessons that I wish I'd have learned at that age. I found myself yelling at the screen for the most basic things and thought, 'if I'd learned these skills then, my relationships would be so much better.' It's better to learn and implement them late than never at all, I suppose.
If I had to give this series a rating, I'd give it a 4.2 out of 5. There were situations from the teens and adults that drove me completely insane, but it was a journey. The character development was decent. Rating that aspect of the show, I'd say 4.5 out of 5 stars. The lessons were well learned and implemented throughout the series. Teens earned the value of take accountability and apologizing as well as recognizing their feelings were valid. I would watch the show again at some point in the future. For sure.
