The Gossip Girl reboot should have never existed

The Gossip Girl is a reboot of the original show "Gossip Girl", an iconic show that managed to impact an entire generation and the pop culture because of it's iconic characters and it's plot revolving around social media and rich young people being complete assholes.

Even though this show came out 3 years ago (2021-2022), I still wanted to watch the show because I have never watched the original Gossip Girl and I was also very curious to see if the show was as bad as some critics were saying and holy crap this show is terrible... 

The show is very bland from the get go and I have never seen such a forgettable cast : the actors are mid at best and mediocre at worst, their stories are boring and the characters are uninteresting because there are no layers build into them. They don't have a personality and there is no character development whatsoever, which is pretty astonishing. The main character (whose name is Julien) is so boring, unlikable and has not charisma at all, which is pretty funny since she is supposed to be the most powerful social media influencer in New York City (an "it girl" if you prefer). The concept of Gossip Girl is pretty interesting but it is executed terribly in the reboot, because it is revealed that the Gossip Girl is the teachers of the rich people and their motive is to expose them on the internet to change them as better people and to have their own revenge because they are sad because these rich high schoolers (or maybe college student? I don't know and I don't care) suck. Let me remind you that the Gossip Girl throughout the show cyberbully them, stalk, blackmail, take photos of the intimate life of TEENAGERS and the show wants to paint them as the good guys? Sure, the rich dudes are terrible poeple, but the teachers are also very petty for bullying teenagers (as if destroying their lives was going to have a positive impact and make them change as better people ? It doesn't make sense!), am I supposed to root for someone in this show ?

I don't even wanna talk about how bad the dialog is in the show, it's so bland, uninteresting, """quirky and camp""" and complete nonsense, the show is insufferable, the episodes are so long for no reason and the storylines are soooo repetitive : Julien wants to become a better person but she does something bad which backfires, however she thinks she is a better person (because she said she would, even though she didn't do anything to even try to become one) so she thinks she's right but then she upsets someone from her entourage because she is so freaking toxic and unlikable, so she then realises that "oooooh no I'm so bad :( I'm so toxic but now I know and I will be a better person :D", and then Julien wants to become a better person but she does something bad which backfires, however she thinks she is blablabla, the story repeats itself for 2 whole seasons and it's probably the only "arc" she goes through so yeah... 

When I say that this show is terrible, I mean it. 

No flavor, not funny, bad acting, terrible dialog, good visuals, no plot, do not watch the show.
