In the Dark is a crime drama in which the lead actress is blind and trying to figure out life. In this series she is determined to find the killer of her good friend regardless of the price along the way. She will not stop until she gets the answers she so desperately need.
Being blind she navigates life with her service animal and lives with her best friend Jess who has helped her throughout her loss of eyesight at age 14. She is funny, witty, promiscuous and loves to drink. Jess however is in a committed lesbian relationship doesn't share with her friends love for a nightly drunken stupor and random men over for the night.
There are many twists and turns as a group of innocent dog trainers end up in trouble with a big time drug ring. There is sex, partying, love, murder, disaster, loss, humor, cop chases, wins, and fear as the series progresses. It's a little slow to start but all things considered, it was a decent show. I watched the series in a few weeks so I'd say it's binge worthy once you get into it.
Another good crime drama is HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER. I'll save that review for Another day
