M5 Shogun

Based on James Clavell’s epic novel, this show transports viewers to feudal Japan, where political intrigue, cultural clashes, and personal struggles intertwine. 

The story follows John Blackthorne (played by a brilliant ensemble cast led by Riz Ahmed), an English ship pilot who becomes stranded in Japan during the 17th century. As he adapts to the unfamiliar customs and traditions of the samurai, he finds himself caught in a power struggle between warlords, religious factions, and the ruling Shōgun.
