When support doesn't get it that apps don't play together

Got a strange message today on one of my apps saying payment isn't compatible with our (apple) platform. My device as android! Didn't get it from Apple play store but Google play store, had app for years. Subscription for app, in Google play store not due yet, and not done thru apple pay.

Last time I checked, Google and Apple aren't even acquaintance, much less play together.
