By women, I'm really speaking for my personal experience as a woman.
Other women may have a different reasons for what their motivation is for working out.
Some is to make their ex regret.
Some is to get ready for another relationship.
Some is to be beach ready.
Some is to lose the belly gained from pregnancy.
Some is to show people that they can overcome the challenge and stay committed to their physical health.
Me, I just need more energy. Which sounds contradictory because working out takes energy.
Also for more brain power coz yes, I do overthink (as a self-diagnosed adhd waiting to be clinically diagnosed) but I need a more powerful level of thoughts that is used for strategizing. Believe it or not, there are different levels of thoughts and you can pick and choose them but they require different energy levels.
Ever noticed why CEOs, Investors, Founders, etc prioritize working out and being healthy? Is it too look good? It's a by-product.
Working out helps your body create more food for your thoughts and balances your emotions. Making it a natural way of keeping you calm, collected and smart. The confidence these leaders exudes comes from the ability to handle new information with ease.
Anyhow, my motivation to work out isn't to look good or to lose weight. It's for me to have more energy, higher level of thoughts and better ways to handle new and current information.
