In my personal experience, I believe that the best way to lose belly fat can be narrrowed down to 3 points: 1) consistent daily exercise, 2) nutritious meals, and 3) smaller portion sizes for meals.
- Consistent daily exercise: This does NOT have to be something as hard as the same workout as professional athletes who spend hours per day training and exercising. As long as you can do some type of exercise per day for even 15-20 minutes to get you sweating and feeling the burn it should be fine to burn that pesky belly fat. But do remember to keep your exercising within a level that you can manage, for example do NOT try to run a marathon if you are not used to long distance running. An example of workout that can be done to burn belly fat should be something like this: a minute or two of jumping jacks to warm up your muscles or a little jog for the same amount of time, followed by 2 sets of push ups for 5-10 reps, 2 sets of situps for 5-10 reps, 2 sets of romanian twists for as many reps as you can manage, and finishing it off with a nice and relaxed static stretch session for about 4-5 minutes. Do remember to ALWAYS use proper exercing techniques as doing that will be more beneficial to burning fat than doing more reps, also make sure that the rest in between reps is never more than a minute long as do NOT want your muscles to cool down when trying to burn fat.
- Nutritious meals: One of the most likely causes of gaining extra belly fat is usually the consumption of junk food or food that is too fatty. This can be easily fixed by replacing them with healthier options, for example replacing a soda every now and then with juice or water, or replacing a bag of chips with a sandwich.
- Smaller portion sizes for meals: Now I'm not saying to eat little to nothing to lose belly fat, but rather to have meals that are not TOO big in servings. For example, eating a serving size that will fill up your stomach but not cause you to feel like you ate TOO much during a meal. Another way to deal with smaller portion sizes is too spread out how much you throughout the day in smaller servings for smaller meals, instead of waiting to eat until a certain time or meal to finally eat adter starving yourself (causing you to want to eat more at that time).
Hopefully this was of some help to any of you, or at least gave you some tips or clues to help burn that pesky belly fat. Whether it's to burn some belly fat or to get into shape, I wish you the best of luck!!!
