My abs routine includes specifically exercises targeted for the core, like planks, crunches, leg raises, and Russian twists as to work on different areas of my core.
My favourite and most effective exercise of them all are the inverse crunch and the candlestick legs, because they get the abs stronger and more definite, plus they target multiple muscles groups, particularly the core and the hip flexors.
