So this is what I've been doing the past few weeks. I've been recording times to see the improvement. Over the years I've focussed on strength training as I hate cardio. I have a real mental challenge when it comes to running. So this has been hard for me but recording my times and seeing the improvements week to week has really helped. Hopefully someone else may find this useful.

15 squats & 10 Ball Slams x 4
Stairmaster 10mins 75-80% effort record steps/floors
Record times for each section then week by week look at your improvements
Week 1 times on the right, week 2 on the left
