I usually use this cardio exercise whenever I have a workout session at home. I do it between 2 and 3 times per week.
The exercise is a 6 steps or movements:
1.- Starting stand up and goes for a squat
2.- From the squat you go on your knees on two steps, one knee first and then the second (I always go with left first).
3.- Once on your knees with the hand/arms in the squat position you go to the floor to do a plank.
4.- Now you go to go stand-up in the reverse order (knees - one knee up, second knee up, squat), and from the squat we finish with a jumping jack.
I do this exercise for 3 rounds of 10 reps each. My advice is not to go further because it is a complete exercise
I combine this exercise with short Tabata jumps sessions (30 seconds) with my weighted rope. The weighted rope is an amazing tool I recommend to everybody because you can even change the size/weight of the rope to increase the intensity of the workout.
I hope you like it.
