Two birds with one stone
There are several things I do to incorporate movement and exercise within my own neighborhood. First of all, walking the court to visit with neighbors is an easy way to increase daily steps and maintain movement. As much as possible I like to kill birds with one stone. Sticks in the yard after a storm? Walk the acre and fully squat each time you pick up a stick. Need to edge the driveway. Walk backwards and use your core and glutes to hold the trimmer completely steady and make a clean line and you back up the steep driveway. By incorporating various muscle groups into daily home care, exercise can be a breeze!!!
