When performing a squat, make sure to keep your back straight and tighten your core to avoid putting unnecessary strain on your spine. Letting your knees extend past your toes can put excessive stress on your joints, so keep your weight in your heels. Avoid leaning forward chest, as this can cause your lower back to round and lead to injury. Keep your weight evenly distributed between both legs, don't shift too far forward or backward. Failing to lower yourself down so your thighs are parallel to the ground can also lead to poor form and potential injury.
